You may have noticed that there is no mention of rates on this site. Why? Because it is difficult to provide an answer without having checked the source text, to analyse its complexity and its linguistic nuances. Each project is different, which is why we recommend that you send us the documents for translation. We can then discuss your expectations together and give you a quote. We usually invoice per source word, but we can also apply an hourly rate depending on the project. We charge an extra fee for urgent projects (sent to us after 5 PM and to be delivered the next morning, for instance) or for weekend work (sent to us after 5 PM on Friday and to be delivered on Monday morning, for instance). Our rate for translation/localisation services always includes translation, proofreading and the use of QA tools. We can also offer proofreading by a second translator in-house. This proofreading is always invoiced on the same basis as the translation (per word or per hour).

A sworn translator is a legal expert registered by the French courts. This expert can translate official documents (birth certificate, driving licence, ID, passport, academic record, etc.). The translations are valid and certified. We should be able to provide this service soon.
